Just got back to the UK after an awesome wkend in Holland at the Protest Cable Call.
It was such a cool event and there were loads of riders from all over... I think there were about 15 of us just from the UK. All the riders stayed in this mint hotel, where every room had a jacuzzi (www.hotelhouten.nl)... I am actually thinking about moving in there next wk!
The cable where the event was held is called 'Down Under'. It only opened a couple of months ago and had brand new unit park obstacles, which are amazing. The comp was hard in all categories as the level of riding was really high. I was stoked to make the final and come 4th overall (especially as that meant some prize money :). Other results from UK riders... Pro men: CK 4th (although bust his knee in the process); Nick 2nd. Junior men: Freddie 4th; Dan G 2nd.
